The symposium „Konstruktiv, wertschätzend, digital – Beraten in der Hochschullehre“ from May 9 to 13, 2022, offers interesting workshops, lectures, and keynotes for professors, teachers, scientific staff, and other attendants at colleges and universities. The aim of the five-day-long event is not only the discussion of a number of guiding questions, which should stimulate the exchange and further education in the field of counselling/coaching, but also the further development of competences in the field of teaching and counselling.
A number of events from different members of team QueSCo can be found on the symposium’s agenda:
On Thursday, May 12, 2022, from 1 to 4 pm, Hansjörg Künzli, Lara Calasso, Frédérick Dionne and Melanie Fleischhacker hold a workshop under the title “1, 2 oder 3? Fragen und Fragesequenzen in Beratungsformaten”. The workshop deals with questions as well as with individual questioning sequences in coaching and approaches the sequence ‘question-answer-reaction’ from a psychological and linguistic perspective.
Within the framework of the final ceremonial act of the symposium, Eva-Maria Graf will hold a keynote on Friday, May 13, 2022, from 9 am to 3 pm, on the topic “Counselling and Counselling Competence” as well as the (successful) realization of professional, helping, and counselling conversations in general and particular. In doing so, not only the forms of verbal help are discussed, but also the differences between everyday conversations and professional conversations from a perspective of applied linguistics..
