Annalena Weber completed her Bachelor’s degree in German philology with a focus on linguistics at the Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz and is enrolled in the Master’s programme in Language and Communication at the University of Mannheim. Having supported a dissertation project on dialectology in historical linguistics as a research assistant for a year, she is now shifting her focus to pragmatics. As a research assistant at IDS, she is mainly responsible for the transcription in FOLKER (Editor von Forschungs- und Lehrkorpus Gesprochenes Deutsch) in the project “Questioning Sequences in Coaching” and other auxiliary tasks.
