The first face-to-face QUeSCo team meeting finally took place from 15th to 17th of August 2021
Five months after the official project kick-off the project team of “Questioning Sequences in Coaching” finally met face-to-face for the very first time at the Leibniz Institute for the German Language in Mannheim. After countless online meetings the teams from Austria, Germany, and Switzerland could not wait to finally meet each other in person.
The face-to-face discussions and getting to know each other was an enrichment for our (future) cooperation and daily interactions. After a social kick-off on the day of arrival the team continued to discuss the most important matters on the agenda on Monday and Tuesday, such as:
- Status reports by the teams (regarding the project website, data and transcriptions, as well as articles and planned theses)
- Exchange on the (preliminary) categorization system that has been developed for questions and functions and coaching as well as data sessions
- Report on the current state of research in the field of coaching in psychology and exchange on the topic factors of effectiveness (and questions)
- Determination of next steps for the joint collaboration and milestones for the following months
Unfortunately the days passed quickly and the time to leave came earlier than expected. However, the next (and thus second) face-to-face meeting will take place in November 2021 in Klagenfurt.
